Vehere, the city-based communications and cyber security firm, has brought in private equity firm Enam Holdings to augment Vehere's research and development centre in Calcutta

Enam has picked up 15 per cent in the company at an undisclosed amount, including a position on the board of directors. Vehere, which is growing its business at a rapid pace, is eyeing listing opportunities in the next 3-4 years.

The company on Monday said it would augment its research and development centre in Calcutta and strengthen its presence in the rest of India, West Asia and South East Asian countries.

"Enam's onboarding reaffirms the potential of this market that can be harnessed," said Naveen Jaiswal, co-founder and director of Vehere.

Founded in Calcutta in 2006 by two brothers - Naveen and Praveen Jaiswal, Vehere has been working on technology-based solutions for national security organisations globally, including India as well as banking and financial sector and enterprises.
